South bend Lions make long-awaited USL league 2 debut

After a long delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the South bend Lions have made their debut in the great Lakes division of USL league Two.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – soccer has long been part of South Bend’s sports fabric through local youth programs.

Now with the addition of a pre-professional franchise, the soccer community has expanded.

Initially announced in 2019, the COVID-19 pandemic meant Camiseta US Sassuolo Camiseta Selección de fútbol de Camerún waiting a little longer for the South bend Lions to get started. but they are now underway, participating in the great Lakes division of USL league Two. The league provides a spotlight and development platform for college-aged players while maintaining their eligibility. Unofficially, it is considered the fourth tier of competition in the united states with major league soccer at the top.

The Lions are 1-1-0 through two games with their first Camiseta Borussia Dortmund home match scheduled for Saturday, may 29 at TCU school field in South Bend. They will play six more home matches in June and July before the regular season wraps up.
